CASE 1
One of the earliest successful implementation of the 4th party managed supply chain came from the telecom industry. This particular company had been in China for more than 10 years at the time and the competitive landscape was changing rapidly resulting in diminishing return. This company had a supplier list of more than hundreds and mounting number of different parts that required different ways to store and account for. In 2006 one of the fastest growing telecommunication infrastructure installation companies in China came to INDSERVE for solutions on how to best implement inventory management system to reduce waste and improve efficiencies. INDSERVE was able to implement it's ERP system and consolidate the entire BOM list for base station ancillary installation so that waste and duplication is reduced down.
